Remembering tonight how when Mia was little in H's old car bed when I was tucking her in and reading her a story, before I would leave she wanted me to 'pat' her head...where has the time gone? She is getting to be such a big girl, 5 this summer! Pat my head! She was coughing so much tonight after going to bed she threw up a little poor thing and I went in and started smoothing her hair and I remembered that, wow the things we forget. I wish I could remember every single special little thing with all my kiddos...

Surprises
Sunny day. Mom came over this morning after not talking to her since H's game in Kensington almost a month ago. Hunter had his Anatomy exam yesterday, Physics today and will have Pre Calc tomorrow. Thomas' Lego set came in the mail today so we let Mia open the dollhouse which had been downstairs for about two years. They both had fun playing with it this afternoon. School going well. Still have some home organizing to do....priorities remember, God first in all things. Remember the seasons of life, the kids will not always be small.

Today
Called Hunter tonight. He had a game this afternoon in Middlebury. Tied 5-5. They were up 5-1. He got hit from behind at the beginning of the second and hurt his lower back. Other player kicked out. He managed to get two assists! He has an anatomy test on the eye tomorrow. Exams start next week for him. He was tired and going to bed.
Joe and Thomas went out for a few groceries before our ham supper. Got a bit more straightening up today. Plan for more tomorrow. School is going not too bad! Gotta keep it together!

The Baptism of our Lord
H's team finished up their weekend in Stanstead Quebec this morning 9 a.m. with a loss of 4-1. Was not able to watch as we were back at Catechism and Mass this morning. Hard getting back into the swing of things and of course trouble with the car door too. Sun was out today. Thomas and Mia watched Star Wars while the rest of us napped. Sophia came over late afternoon and they played outside with her for half an hour or so. Dad came in and bought us KFC for supper. Big cleaning plans for tomorrow and back at school. God help me, I'm overwhelmed with much and sad that H may not be back here next year as I had greatly hoped. Scouts were on the lookout for him this weekend. Almost done of the yummy cheesecake Joe made the other day. Thanking God we are pretty much back to good health.
